Translate your store checkout manually
You can change each text on the checkout, upsell, and thank you pages from the Checkout X application. All of the text fields are separated into different sections, so it could be easier to find them in the app:
- Customer details
- Shipping options
- Order summary
- Payment methods
- Footer links
- Scarcity timer
- Loading screens
- Post-purchase upsell controls
- Thank you page
- Cart recovery emails
- Cart recovery SMS
- Error messages
To change the text of specific fields or just select another language, you need to go through the following steps:
- Go to Configuration > Translations
- Select the language preset of your checkout from Change Language
- Find the text field that you want to change
- Enter a custom translation
- Click Save
- Then, you could click on the Preview dropdown and choose the page you want to preview.
Note: If you’ve already edited some text fields and then change the language from the Change Language option, all of your details will be overridden. So, always make sure that you select the language that you want before editing the fields individually.

🙋 Can I import/export translations to/from an external file?
Currently, we don’t provide this option.
🙋 Can I have more than one language with the default Checkout X translations feature?
Currently, it is not possible to have a multilingual checkout with this feature, but we will work on providing it in the near future.
